- Wallingford Symphony Orchestra GalaPosted on: 2009-12-10The Wallingford Symphony Orchestra presents 'Celebrate New Year 2010' on Saturday, January 9th at 8:00pm at the Paul Mellon Arts Center on the Choate Campus in Wallingford. The show will feature music by Berlioz, Johan Strauss Jr., and Sieczynski. European singers will be performing with the orchestra. Tickets are $45 and $40 for seniors. You will be voting for three things, the Town Council and Board of Education candidates which will be on the front of the ballot and the 7 questions for charter revision on the back side of the ballot. Please review the attached files and vote your opinion on November 3rd. One file contains the Wallingford Charter with the changes tracked, the second has the questions on the ballot and the third is an explanation of the questions which was prepared by the Wlfd Town Attorney. This information is also on the Town Website. Please exercise your right to vote on November 3rd.

Local agencies and civic groups will be there, too. This year they are going to have a Little Miss & Mister Wallingford Contest and also their 1st Annual Apple Pie Contest.
